Job Summary

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Controller role based in Newnan GA. The Controller will oversee all financial activities including budgeting forecasting financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities include managing accounting operations preparing financial statements supervising audits and implementing internal controls to streamline financial processes. The role will also involve analyzing financial data to support organizational decision-making and improve profitability.

Qualifications

Proven expertise in financial reporting budgeting and forecasting
Experience in general ledger management accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in financial analysis and data interpretation
Proficiency in accounting software and tools with advanced knowledge of Excel
Excellent organizational problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA certification is a plus
Prior experience in the construction or contracting industry is an advantage
