Job Summary

NEED VERY EXPERIENCED HANDS-ON LOCAL JAVA TEAM LEAD IN CHICAGO AREA FOR A HYBRID CONTRACT!!!

Only LOCAL to Chicago Area!!!

Hands-on there will be Java Programming Tests
Very long-term Hybrid Contract (3 days a week on site in Downtown Chicago (2 days WFH))
3-4 interviews with coding (1 interview is ONSITE!)

Java Team Lead MUST HAVE Proven Experience leading 5 to 8 Java Backend Developers!!!

REQUREMENTS

The candidates must have 5 years of hands-on Team Leads experience who led teams of 5-10 developers
14 years of overall experience
7 years of Team Lead experience

Java 11 or higher version
Experience developing apps using relational and NoSQL databases
Application architectural patterns such as MVC Microservices Event Driven
TDD and BDD development
Deployment using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GoCD Azure DevOps etc.
Deploying and maintaining software using public clouds such as AWS or Azure.
Experience working with one or more MQs/Msg. Brokers such as Kafka RabbitMQ AWS SQS AWS SNS Apache ActiveMQ Kinesis - at least one of those.
Batch or stream processing
Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs
Experience writing API proxies on platforms such as Apigee Edge AWS API Gateway or Azure API Gateway (at least one of those)
Hands one experience with API tools such as Swagger and Assertible
Hands on experience with testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber
