Job Summary

Job Title: Data Security Architect

Location: Houston TX - 3 days/week onsite

Length: 6-12 months

Application & Data Security Architect based in Houston for an initial 6-month engagement to start with for a long-term engagement.

The role will focus primarily on DevSecOps requiring hands-on experience with SAST DAST and SCA tools and preferably a background in reviewing and securing custom application and data implementations on Azure.

The position is responsible for defining and implementing secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices integrating automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines (including SAST DAST SCA and secrets scanning) and establishing secure-by-design architecture patterns for applications and data platforms. The role will work across Central IT and Business IT teams presenting security tooling assessments and clearly articulating business risk and recommending mitigation strategies.

Key Skills:
Application & DevSecOps Security - Secure SDLC design and implementation DevSecOps integration within CI/CD pipelines etc.
Application Security Tooling - SAST DAST SCA Secret Detection etc.
Open-Source & Software Supply Chain Security
Container Security
Vulnerability Management.

Any experience with AI-driven solutions for security engineering is a plus.
