The Electrical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing electrical systems and projects related to power generation transmission and distribution. This role ensures the reliable and safe operation of electrical systems in power plants substations and related facilities. The coordinator manages electrical projects ensures quality requirements are met and facilitates work done under lump sum contracts.

Location:Wilsonville Alabama United States
Responsibilities:
- Abide by all safety rules and help establish and maintain a culture focused on safety.
- Manage electrical projects related to the construction maintenance and upgrade of power generation and distribution systems including developing project plans schedules and budgets.
- Ensure that the quality requirements of the applicable plans specifications and standards are met.
- Facilitate the work done under lump sum contracts and assist the discipline lead in the administration of the contract.
- Identify installation problems assist in developing solutions and ensure corrective actions are taken by the craft contractor or vendor in accordance with an approved plan.
- Interface with coordinators on the project team regarding construction activities.
- Attend meetings as required (pre-bid pre-mobilization contractor orientation JSBs project meetings).
- Ensure that all electrical work adheres to safety regulations and standards to prevent accidents and protect personnel equipment and the environment.
- Stay up to date with and ensure compliance with electrical codes standards and regulations.
- Oversee quality control measures for electrical components systems and equipment ensuring they meet industry standards and specifications.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for electrical systems ensuring they are performed on schedule and within budget including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Plan and manage the upgrade of electrical systems to improve efficiency reliability and safety including modernizing substations implementing new control systems and incorporating renewable energy sources.
- Maintain detailed records of electrical systems equipment specifications maintenance activities and safety inspections.
