Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with strong experience in Electrologix-based design environments hardware design and application logic development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with ACE AutoCAD and MicroStation and a solid background in electrical/control system design preferably in utilities or infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in hardware design and application logic design
- Hands-on experience with:
- ACE (Advanced Control Environment)
- AutoCAD
- MicroStation
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics control systems and protection systems
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical hardware systems and control panels
- Create and modify application logic designs for protection and control systems
- Develop detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Work with ACE (Advanced Control Environment) for design configuration and documentation
- Prepare schematics wiring diagrams and layout drawings
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and project specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering project management and field teams
- Support testing commissioning and troubleshooting activities when required
- Maintain accurate documentation and revision control of engineering deliverables
