Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technician performs diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. This role requires proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment administering radiopharmaceuticals and adhering to safety protocols. The technician will work in both an outpatient center and hospital setting requiring adaptability and strong technical skills.
Location:Burbank California United States
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients adhering to safety guidelines.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
- Float between the outpatient center and hospital as needed.
- Assist with patient registration activities.
- Coordinate equipment and supply needs.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification
- ARRT or NMTCB certification
- Valid California State license
- Minimum 1 year of experience
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- N/A
Special Considerations:
- Must be able to float between the outpatient center and hospital.
- RTO (request time off) must be noted at the time of submittal.
