Job Summary:
The State of South Carolinas Department of Employment and Workforce (DES) seeks an Advanced System Software Programmer to support the modernization of legacy applications. This role requires an experienced Power Platform developer to augment the existing staff. The initial contract is for 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software systems.
- Modernize legacy applications using the Power Platform.
- Collaborate with team members on software development projects.
- Participate in virtual/online interviews.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors Degree.
- Experienced Non-manager.
- Must be a South Carolina resident.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Special Considerations:
- Candidate MUST be a SC resident; no relocation allowed.
- Onsite for the first 3 months potential for hybrid afterward at DES discretion.
- Withdrawn candidates cannot be replaced.
- Sub-vendor usage is limited to one level deep and requires a Sub Vendor usage form.
Scheduling:
- 40 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday standard business hours.

- Position End Date: 12 Months from projected start date
