As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Agent in Plainfield IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecommunications location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points observe and report unusual activity and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees and visitors by following site-specific policies completing security-related procedures and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical calls fire alarms and/or unauthorized activity; notify site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout technology-focused offices and/or facilities including interior spaces perimeter areas and parking locations; working conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow by checking identification verifying authorization issuing visitor credentials and/or directing guests to appropriate areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and logs for patrol activity incidents and service requests; communicate observations and hazards to Allied Universal management and site contacts for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
