Job Summary

Duration: 12-month contract with potential to extend or convert to full-time

Role Overview

One of our clients in the financial services technology space is seeking Product Manager to support key platform solutions: Model Marketplace Proposal Generation and Managed Accounts. You will play a central role in defining product enhancements that improve user experience increase client value and strengthen platform capabilities across model construction and investment proposal workflows.

This role is ideal for a Product Manager who understands the day-to-day realities of wealth management products including how advisors and investment teams build present and manage portfolios. Experience with model construction outsourced trading and investment proposal technology is strongly desired; exposure to rebalancing and trading solutions is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders cross-functional teams clients and partners to deeply understand what drives a strong user experience and measurable client value
  • Define and translate business needs into well-structured product enhancements including:
    • Data models
    • Business logic
    • Application permissions / access controls
  • Produce clear complete and testable system requirements for execution by software engineering and quality assurance
  • Own project phasing roadmap sequencing and backlog prioritization balancing speed risk and stakeholder needs
  • Coordinate with product management sales marketing and service teams to enable successful release planning and go-to-market rollout
  • Apply strong problem-solving to navigate ambiguity uncover root causes and deliver scalable solutions that improve platform outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working in Product Management
  • Strong capability to write high-quality requirements and align engineering QA on execution expectations
  • Proven ability to manage priorities across multiple stakeholders and drive delivery through structured backlog planning
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to influence across teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with a solutions-oriented approach to complex problem solving
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in Finance Engineering or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in wealth management platforms and advisor/investment workflows
  • Product exposure to one or more of the following:
    • Model construction / model marketplace
    • Outsourced trading
    • Proposal generation tools
    • Managed accounts platforms
    • Rebalancing and trading solutions (nice to have)
  • Track record of strong performance ownership and measurable results in academic and/or professional settings
