Job Description

• Perform HPC server installations.
• Manage daily operational duties including error checking inventory management receiving goods remote hands response and escorting visitors.
• Investigate and resolve hardware issues by replacing userserviceable components such as HDDs motherboard trays RAM etc.
• Manage resolution of complex hardware issues using vendor support agreements.
• Troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling issues.
• Execute datacenter change activity involving server installs/moves network switch moves and associated cabling.
• Install label and dress copper and fiber cabling for data center hardware (loose cabling; not structured).
• Conduct BIOS console and basic Linux OS configuration or investigation.
• Support script deployment and asset audits.
• Update and maintain capacity and configuration management data.
• Respond to and complete workflowtoolassigned tasks.

• Solid UNIX administration skills (Ubuntu or RedHat) and fluency with basic commands.
• Strong technical background with logical problemsolving capabilities.
• Extensive experience installing and troubleshooting enterpriselevel servers storage and networking equipment.
• Understanding of data center infrastructure including structured cabling power distribution cooling and system resiliency.
• Experience installing large volumes of data cabling with high presentation standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic Linux and networking knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel.
