Job Title: IT Program/Project Manager (Health Domain)
Location: Atlanta GA (Onsite- must work in-office for two months prior to working a hybrid schedule)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Develop and implement data quality policies procedures and governance processes supporting records maintenance retention delivery and data quality
Support modernization of Vital Records legacy systems aligned with FHIR interoperability standards
Coordinate development and execution of program goals objectives and scope aligned with agency strategic vision
Manage a portfolio of at least 7 concurrent IT projects
Assess and allocate resources across multiple initiatives to build realistic and achievable project schedules
Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize programs and technology initiatives
Identify assign and manage project tasks milestones and deliverables
Lead risk identification impact analysis and mitigation planning for program-level risks and issues
Provide transparent communication and status reporting to stakeholders including senior leadership
Facilitate meetings coordinate cross-functional teams and manage performance and budget tracking
Execute industry best practices in portfolio and program governance
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation supporting all program management activities
Define system requirements and translate business needs into actionable technical deliverables
Perform business process improvement and performance analysis initiatives
Lead API implementation initiatives supporting system interoperability
Implement and manage FHIR standards for healthcare data exchange
Oversee IT projects involving public health data systems
Document system architectures standard operating procedures (SOPs) and governance documentation
Develop and interpret business requirements documents (BRDs) and design documentation
Support RFP/RFI analysis and vendor response evaluation
Work within State Government IT environments deploying and maintaining enterprise systems
Drive cross-organizational collaboration to solve complex technical and operational challenges
Demonstrate strong analytical skills and effective prioritization across competing initiatives
College degree in Business Management Public Health Administration or related discipline OR equivalent professional experience
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP Certification Required certification must be provided)
managing a portfolio of at least seven projects
overseeing IT projects in a project management role
Documenting IT systems SOPs and governance documentation
Business process improvement and performance analysis experience
Experience implementing FHIR standards
Experience implementing and managing APIs
Knowledge of public health data systems
Highly Desired:
Experience with RFP/RFI analysis and vendor evaluation
Experience working within State Government IT environments
