Workday Finance & Supply Chain Manager Lead

Project Overview

Client is seeking a Workday Finance & Supply Chain Lead to oversee system operations and support ongoing initiatives across the Finance and Supply Chain teams.

The role combines both hands-on system work and team leadership. The selected candidate will spend approximately 30% of their time performing functional and technical tasks and 70% managing the team responsible for these activities.

This position supports multiple active Workday initiatives including reporting integrations and system enhancements across Finance and Supply Chain modules.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Oversight

• Lead and manage a team responsible for Workday Finance and Supply Chain system support.
• Oversee daily operations ensuring timely completion of system updates reporting and configuration activities.
• Provide guidance review deliverables and ensure alignment with project and operational priorities.

System Support & Configuration (30% Hands-on)

• Support and maintain Business Processes (BPs) and Calculated Fields (CVs) within Workday.
• Assist with system configurations and enhancements related to Finance and Supply Chain modules.

Reporting & Analytics

• Support reporting requirements including Workday Prism reporting and analytics.
• Ensure accurate reporting outputs for operational and project needs.

Project Support

• Contribute to ongoing Workday-related initiatives and system improvements including:
  • Adaptive Planning
  • Vendor Portal
  • Grants
  • Hyland AP
  • Potential project extensions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and system enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting Workday Finance and Supply Chain modules.
• Experience managing or leading a team responsible for Workday system administration and support.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Business Processes (BPs) and Calculated Fields (CVs).
• Experience supporting Workday reporting including Prism Analytics.
• Ability to support system configuration and assist with active Workday initiatives.
