Job Summary

AWS DevOps Engineer

Wilmington DE/Houston TX - Onsite

W2 and Local Candidates only 2nd round of interview is F2F

Must Have:

Hands On DevOps on AWS VPC ECS EKS Fargate DynamoDB S3 Elastic Cache.

Need some programming skills: Java needed. Intermediate level. Some Python scripting.

DevOps skill set: CI/CD Jenkins Kubernetes etc.

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering Technology or a related field.

8 years of software engineering experience across the full software development lifecycle.

Proficiency in Linux REST APIs Spring Boot SQL and core algorithms.

Experience with large-scale distributed applications in mission-critical environments.

Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging APIs (e.g. JMS).

Strong understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD automated testing (TDD) resiliency and application security.

Excellent communication skills able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven track record of delivering results in collaborative cross-functional teams.

Awareness of industry technology trends and best practices.

Nice to have:

Terraform should have knowledge but position is not hands on IaC scripting (separate team).

Big Data tools / data engineering / Scala.

SRE / support experience.
