Job Summary

Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer (GDPS OR Parallel Sysplex)

Columbus OH - Plano TX - Jersey City NJ - Tampa FL- Onsite

Note: Need Local and W2 Candidates only

Required:
Design and implement GDPS solutions (Metro Global Mirror Metro Global Mirror LCP Test Copy Manager) to meet business RTO/RPO objectives.
Install configure and maintain IBM Z NetView and IBM System Automation for z/OS as part of the GDPS automation stack.
Configure and manage IBM DS8000 storage systems including Metro Mirror Global Mirror FlashCopy and Safeguarded Copy technologies.
Develop and maintain GDPS scripts for automation of planned and unplanned actions system recovery and site switch scenarios.
Monitor and troubleshoot GDPS environments using NetView panels GDPS GUI and Status Display Facility (SDF).
Participate in disaster recovery testing failover/failback exercises and continuous availability drills.
Collaborate with storage network and mainframe teams to ensure end-to-end resiliency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Document configurations procedures and best practices for GDPS environments.
Provide technical support and training to operations and support teams.
