Job Description

The Geospatial Manager MAP will be responsible for overseeing geospatial projects and ensuring the integration of advanced technologies such as Java Springboot Microservices and AWS.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage hybrid work models effectively ensuring seamless operations during day shifts.
The candidate will contribute to the companys mission by enhancing geospatial capabilities impacting societal development positively.

Lead geospatial projects by integrating advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency -
Oversee the development and deployment of Java-based applications to support geospatial data processing -
Provide expertise in Springboot Microservices to ensure scalable and reliable geospatial solutions -
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AWS-based geospatial services -
Ensure seamless operations in a hybrid work model optimizing remote and in-office workflows -
Analyze geospatial data to derive actionable insights that support strategic decision-making -
Develop strategies to improve geospatial data accuracy and accessibility across the organization -
Implement best practices for geospatial data management and security within AWS environments -
Coordinate with stakeholders to align geospatial initiatives with business objectives -
Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of geospatial solutions -
Facilitate training sessions to enhance team skills in Java Springboot and AWS technologies -

Qualifications

Possess strong expertise in Java programming for geospatial applications
Demonstrate proficiency in Springboot Microservices for developing scalable solutions
Have extensive experience with AWS services for geospatial data management
Exhibit excellent analytical skills to interpret complex geospatial data
Show capability in managing hybrid work models effectively
Display strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams
Hold a degree in Computer Science Geospatial Science or related field
Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in geospatial project management
Showcase ability to lead projects with a focus on innovation and efficiency
Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and technology adoption
Present a track record of successful geospatial project delivery
Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
