Government & Regulatory Affairs - Trade Remedies Associate

About the Role:

As an Associate in the Trade Remedies group you will work on complex trade matters involving investigations administrative proceedings and litigation. The role offers significant hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop deep expertise in U.S. trade laws while advising domestic and international clients.

Key responsibilities include:

Handling antidumping and countervailing duty investigations and reviews before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission
Building and managing the administrative record before relevant agencies
Developing and presenting legal arguments and strategic case positions
Supporting and leading litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit
Advising clients on trade policy and regulatory developments before the Executive Branch and Congress
Providing counsel on broader trade remedy and compliance matters including matters involving:
- Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962
- Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1930
- The International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA)

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum 3 years of experience handling antidumping and countervailing duty matters
Experience before the U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. International Trade Commission
Background in private practice or relevant U.S. government experience
Demonstrated ability to build administrative records and develop persuasive legal arguments
Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
Interest in complex international trade policy and regulatory work
