Job Summary

The shift is: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm (potential for some overtime as need)

Position-Related Duties and Key Job Responsibilities

Perform routine emergency and preventative maintenance on electric and internal combustion (IC) forklifts.
Diagnose repair and maintain equipment including electric and LP forklifts pallet jacks and aerial lifts
Ensure operational safety and minimal downtime of Lifts
Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulic systems electrical systems engines transmissions braking systems and mast assemblies.
Repair or replace broken parts including motors pumps valves and cylinders.
Conduct safety inspections and testing on equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
Maintain accurate service records repair logs and work orders using computer systems.
Order and manage service inventory.

Qualification and Additional Requirements

High School Diploma General Education.
Related Trade/Technical Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years experience as a forklift technician or similar heavy equipment mechanic role.
In-depth knowledge of hydraulic electrical and mechanical systems
