Job Summary

Job Title: Release manager

Location: Phoenix AZ

Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience:

5 years of experience in Release Management and Deployment management

Strong expertise with CI/CD pipelines Git branching strategies GitHub Actions and DevOps tooling.

Proven experience managing releases across multiple Agile teams and environments.

Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and coordination skills.

Skilled in risk mitigation rollback planning and incident remediation.

Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during high-impact releases.

Preferred Attributes:

Outgoing and proactive in team interactions.

Comfortable presenting ideas and engaging in technical discussions.

Passionate about building process and develop automations

Experience in risk compliance or audit-related applications is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle for GCIP components including Cloud Management (CM) Identity Management (IM) Monitoring (MO) and Event Source.

Collaborate with AppDev QA and infrastructure teams across release phases (MVP1 MVP4).

Maintain and communicate the release calendar aligned with PI planning system demos and iteration reviews.

Develop automations using different tools

Define and drive branching strategy and version control across FCP repositories.

Facilitate release readiness reviews covering feature tagging test coverage and stakeholder sign-offs.

Ensure risk management rollback planning and incident response are in place.

Track and report on release metrics ensuring continuous improvement in release quality and velocity.
