Job Summary

description:

Assists the surgical team in the preparation of surgical procedures in the operating room. Prepares surgical cases by creating and maintaining a sterile field retracting and passing instruments supplies and medications to surgeons during cases. Performs a variety of technical skills including the maintenance of supplies. This position is represented by SEIU.

requirement:

Rotating Shift -rotating meaning it could be 6AM- 14330 8:30AM - 17:00 10:00AM - 1830 or 12:00 - 2023 or 14:30 to 22:30 - possibly 22:00 to 0600; 5 x 8s M - F. Must have BLS and Surgical Tech Certification. 1 year experience a must. There is Call will discuss in and Work Experience:High School Education/GED or equivalent: PreferredAssociates/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: PreferredSix months of OR experience or completed Scrub Tech course: RequiredLicenses/Certifications:Surgery Technician certification: PreferredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
