Beacon Engineered Solutions is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician who enjoys handson work troubleshooting and being the goto person when equipment needs attention. If you like variety independence and working on a team that depends on your expertise—this role is for you.

What Youll Do

Youll keep our production and facility equipment running safely and efficiently by:

• Troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment
• Performing preventive and routine maintenance
• Responding to equipment breakdowns and emergencies
• Assisting molding personnel with equipment and process issues
• Making equipment improvements upgrades and fabrications
• Supporting new equipment and process installations
• Following safety standards work instructions and housekeeping expectations

What Were Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 2year technical degree or equivalent experience in Maintenance
• Strong mechanical skills and comfort using hand tools
• Ability to prioritize troubleshoot and work independently or with a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to meet physical job requirements
• Forklift license (or ability to obtain)

Preferred

• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Plastic injection molding experience
• Mechanical electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Overhead crane experience

Work Environment

This is a handson role in a manufacturing environment working with injection molding equipment presses tools and facility systems. The majority of work is indoors with occasional outdoor work.
