Senior UX Designer P&C Design (Homeowners & Renters)
Role Type: Contract (Backfill for high-performer)
Experience Level: 8 Years (Enterprise-level experience required)
Location: Hybrid (Plano TX preferred; open to candidates within 60 miles of any USAA campus)
Work Schedule: Flexible hybrid; approximately 3 days per week onsite.
The OpportunityJoining the Property & Casualty (P&C) Design team you will lead UX execution for All Things Dwelling-specifically focusing on Homeowners and Renters insurance products. This role requires a designer who can tackle complex enterprise UI/UX problems navigating both modernization initiatives and legacy maintenance.
Technical Must-Haves- Figma Expert (Deal-Breaker): Must demonstrate advanced hands-on experience with Local Libraries Variables and Auto Layouts.
- Design Systems: Proven experience working within and contributing to robust large-scale design systems.
- Enterprise Portfolio: We are looking for a clean organized method to the madness portfolio. While PDFs are acceptable a personal portfolio website is highly preferred.
- Research Integration: While you wont necessarily conduct the research you must have experience working alongside research initiatives and synthesizing findings into design solutions.
Core Responsibilities- Complex Problem Solving: Deconstruct intricate business requirements into high-impact user-centered digital solutions.
- End-to-End Execution: Drive the workstream from initial discovery through high-fidelity delivery.
- Collaboration: Work across cross-organizational teams to ensure consistency in the Member experience.
- Communication & Facilitation: Present work effectively to stakeholders. (Workshop facilitation is a strong nice-to-have).
