As a Security Officer - Museum Patrol Driver in Wilmington DE you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical or petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting hazards suspicious activity and/or process-area access concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings tank farms loading areas and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or other unwanted activity.
- Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification and authorization directing traffic flow and documenting entries exits and deliveries according to site procedures.
- Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs incident reports and shift activity reports and communicate noteworthy conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years of security-related experience.
- Be 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
