Job Description:
We are seeking a TB Health Educator to join a critical public health initiative aimed at reducing tuberculosis morbidity and mortality in Indiana. The ideal candidate will provide education and training to health departments healthcare providers and the public while developing resources and outreach materials. This role involves coordinating health education activities engaging with community partners and maintaining an updated program website.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide education and technical assistance on tuberculosis to local health departments and healthcare providers.
Develop and deliver training materials for diverse audiences.
Engage with the public at health fairs and outreach events.
Collaborate with organizations like the CDC and the Indiana American Lung Association on educational initiatives.
Maintain the TB program website and ensure all materials are current.

Key Skills:

Bachelors degree in public health or related field; Masters preferred.
Knowledge of tuberculosis epidemiology and public health regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick learner of database applications.
Strong communication skills both oral and written.
Experience in creating training materials for diverse audiences.
