Job Summary

Job Title: Programmer

Location: 6005 Commerce Avenue Suite 320 Irving TX75063 - 3days on-site (Mon - Weds) 2 days remote

Duration: 6 Months Cth could convert in the first 30-45 days.

Key Responsibilities

Develop enhance and maintain applications built in Visual Studio using VB (primary) and C (secondary).
Support and evolve a limited web interface with a SQL Server backend.
Work closely with end users to gather requirements clarify business needs and validate technical solutions.
Troubleshoot debug and resolve issues across the application stack.
Design and architect mid complexity application components workflows and integrations.
Collaborate across teams to ensure stable scalable and user friendly systems.
Analyze existing code to identify improvement opportunities and implement enhancements.
Maintain documentation follow version control best practices and support testing efforts.

Required Skills & Experience

4 6 years of professional programming experience.
Background in a smaller multi hat environment (hands-on coder light architecture user interaction support).
Strong coding skills in:
- VB (primary language)
- C (nice-to-have but used as part of the environment)
Experience with Visual Studio and SQL Server (queries stored procedures troubleshooting).
Ability to translate user needs into clear technical requirements.
Comfortable interacting with non technical users on:
- Front-end requirements gathering
- Back-end debugging and support
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Clear professional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing or architecting mid complexity systems or application workflows.
Familiarity with modernizing or refactoring legacy applications.
Exposure to web technologies (HTML web components).
Experience supporting line of business or custom internal applications.
