Job Summary

The Sr. Data Governance Specialist (Data Steward) will work with a large client / Private Equity firm. The role is pivotal in supporting the client s ongoing Data Governance journey including the transformation of their current Data Governance toolset. The specialist will drive end-to-end data governance and data quality initiatives across business domains lead tool implementations and guide cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Master s in business administration (MBA - Finance)
(and / or) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Technology (.) in Computer Science or related fields: 124 years; Preferably MS in Computer Science or related fields

Duties:

Lead the discovery phase to analyze the current state of Data Governance at a Private Equity client
Develop & define Data Governance strategy including Data Cataloging Lineage Metadata Mgmt. Data Quality Stewardship Metrics & KPIs for the organization based on objectives and priorities
Support evaluation of Data Governance / DQ / Data Lineage tools such as Collibra Alation Ataccama Solidatus and other Cloud services (Purview Unity Catalog Horizon etc.)
Collaborate with business IT and governance teams to ensure alignment of DQ Lineage and enterprise governance frameworks
Define data quality rules collaborating with Data Stewards; Perform advanced data profiling root cause analysis and develop remediation plans to improve data quality and compliance
Drive implementation of selected Data Governance tools and ensure adherence as part of ongoing change management.
Monitor data quality lineage and observability to ensure transparency and regulatory adherence.
