Job Title: Senior DataStage Consultant
Work Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
Bank is seeking a Senior DataStage Consultant with strong SQL expertise and hands-on experience integrating enterprise data platforms with Data Fabric solutions using internal and external APIs. The ideal candidate is highly self-driven capable of working independently with minimal supervision and experienced in designing scalable secure and high-performance data integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain complex ETL workflows using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries stored procedures and database objects.
- Integrate enterprise data platforms with Data Fabric architectures.
- Build and consume REST/SOAP APIs (internal and external) for data ingestion and distribution.
- Design API-based data pipelines ensuring security scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with architecture and data governance teams to align with enterprise standards.
- Perform data mapping transformation logic development and validation.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize ETL and database workloads.
- Provide production support and participate in release/deployment activities.
- Work independently to drive deliverables from requirements through implementation.
Required Skills:
- 7 years of experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle / SQL Server / DB2 specify as needed).
- Hands-on experience integrating with Data Fabric platforms.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML payloads.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL design patterns.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of API authentication mechanisms (OAuth token-based auth etc.).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must be onsite at client in Atlanta Georgia 2-3 days/wk
