Job Summary

Title: Accounting Advisory Manager (Outsourced Accounting and Controllership)

Job Type: Full-time Permanent

Location: Houston TX (Hybrid)

The Challenge:

A growing Accounting Advisory platform in Houston is adding a Manager-level professional with strong outsourced accounting and controllership experience. This role offers meaningful client ownership leadership visibility and the opportunity to play a key role in scaling the Houston practice.

What Youll Do:

Lead full-cycle accounting and month-end close for multiple middle-market clients
Serve as acting Controller / accounting lead for outsourced engagements
Oversee financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
Drive process improvements internal controls and reporting enhancements
Manage and mentor staff and senior accountants
Interface directly with client leadership teams
Support technical accounting matters and implementation initiatives

Ideal Background:

CPA or CPA equivalent required
6 9 years of accounting experience prior Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred
Prior experience in Accounting Advisory CAAS Outsourced Accounting or Controllership
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
Experience managing teams and serving as primary client contact
Houston-based or willing to relocate
