The Tower Terrace clinic is a brand new facility built in 2022. The clinic will increase access to primary care in the community. The 11500-square-foot facility will offer family medicine and pediatric services. Patients will be able to schedule routine visits such as wellness exams and vaccinations as well as be seen for non-emergent acute illnesses.

UnityPoint Health identified the city of Marion as one of the fastest-growing communities in the metro area with an 18.5% growth in the last decade. Additionally Tower Terrace Road is expected to become a main arterial connecting Marion Cedar Rapids and Hiawatha within the next five years.

• Clinic of both Family Medicine and Pediatric providers
• Practice serving the Marion community
• Opportunity to practice outpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
• Experienced staff both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community
• Full-time position including dedicated administrative time with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
• 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

• Clinic hours: Monday Friday 7:30am 6pm and Saturday 8am 12pm; Saturdays are not currently part of the clinic hours plan to expand on a rotating basis.
• Shared call amongst the providers;Calls are first triaged through MyNurse
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• General family medicine procedures such as joint injections skin excisions lacerations casting etc.
• Evaluates interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical and problem-solving skills

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
