Pay Rate: Standard CBWS Hourly Rate ($15/hr). This position is subject to an annual wage increase.

Position is for 2026-27 academic year: Fall 2026 start date.

IMPORTANT: STUDENTS MUST HAVE A STATE OR FEDERAL WORK AWARD TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR COMMUNITY BASED WORK STUDY (CBWS) POSITIONS. Student CBWS work eligibility is subject to change due to work award re-determinations over the summer. This means even students who were a chosen applicant for the position may be ineligible to work if they do not have a state/federal work award in Fall 2026.

Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):Provide administrative office support for the Healthy Community Initiative (HCI) a Northfield-based nonprofit that operates programs supporting children youth and families in the areas of health education and career outcomes.

Transferable Skills:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Navigating computer systems and technologies

Understanding operations of nonprofit organizations

Duties and Responsibilities:

Capacity-building projects (Example: Evaluate organizations media presence and

strategies)

Enter program data and update data tracking records

Prepare bulk mailings

Type/Summarize meeting notes

Organize and monitor office and program supplies

Other office clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)

Reliable

Excellent attention to detail

Effective communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to receive instruction
