GameStop is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Senior Manager of Asset Protection to lead loss prevention strategy investigations and operational protection starting with our rapidly growing PSA submission ecosystem. This role will lead asset protection efforts specifically for PSA thirdparty grading companies and any future collectibleprocessing partnerships serving as the operational and investigative lead for these ecosystems.
This highly visible role partners extensively with omnichannel carriers (FedEx UPS USPS) law enforcement and collectible-focused ORC organizations to prevent in-transit losses and improve recovery outcomes. You will serve as an enterprise expert in large-scale investigations high-value asset protection and executive-ready communication across Field Loss Prevention Store Operations Logistics and GameStop leadership. As well as proactive process improvements across the PSA ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Omnichannel Carrier Loss Mitigation & Investigations
- Lead build and foster collaborative partnerships with major carriers (FedEx UPS USPS eBay PSA) to reduce in-transit loss and improve claims outcomes and handling.
- Implement operational controls for packaging labeling chain of custody and exception management.
- Build performance scorecards and trend reports to drive loss reduction and delivery reliability.
Law Enforcement & ORC Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison with local state and federal law enforcement regarding theft fraud and high-value recoveries.
- Partner with ORC networks to monitor emerging fencing channels and criminal trends.
- Support case development evidence management documentation and prosecution efforts.
Large-Scale Investigations
- Lead major internal and external theft fraud and ORC investigations.
- Maintain high standards for documentation chain of custody and case management.
- Deliver concise executive-level summaries with actionable insights.
Field Partnership Training & Awareness
- Partner with store district and regional teams to strengthen PSA handling compliance and security.
- Provide targeted training and communication on risks processes and best practices.
- Promote a culture of accountability and awareness through clear guidance and hands-on support.
Data-Driven Strategy & Analysis
- Identify shrink and fraud patterns using KPIs and operational data.
- Connect day-to-day execution to long-term strategic goals through scalable intelligent solutions.
- Produce clear reporting for executives on performance risk trends and recommendations.
Leadership Communication & Judgment
- Provide steady leadership during critical incidents and major loss events.
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Challenge assumptions and offer data-driven operationally sound solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of progressive experience in Asset Protection Loss Prevention Corporate Security Investigations or Law Enforcement.
- 3 years of team leadership or enterprise program leadership experience.
- Proven expertise partnering with FedEx UPS USPS or other parcel carriers to reduce loss and manage claims.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale complex investigations involving high-value assets.
- Strong working knowledge of investigative tools chain-of-custody standards and case management best practices.
- Experience leading enterprises multi-region asset protection or loss prevention programs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including executive-level reporting.
- Demonstrated success building cross-functional partnerships across filed operations logistics and corporate teams.
- Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Business or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CFI LPC WZ CPP or similar.
- Experience in collectibles luxury goods electronics or other high-value merchandise categories.
- Familiarity with ORC intelligence networks and prosecution-focused collaboration.
- Experience building training programs for field operations.
