The Contractor will provide Lead Buyer services to support a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project awarded to Kent Energy UK Ltd by Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO). KJO is a partnership between Aramco Gulf Operations Company (AGOC) representing Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) representing the State of Kuwait.
The FEED will complete at the end of 2026 and Lead Buyer services are required to support the FEED team to produce an execution estimate. All engineering and procurement services for FEED are provided from Kents Woking office.
Supply Chain Manager will facilitate Contractor provide services in line with outside IR35 requirements. Responsibilities include finalizing tenderers from an existing Approved Vendor List issue enquiries receiving tenders coordination of technical clarifications issue of commercial clarifications complete and issue commercial bid evaluations and recommendation the proposal for use in the estimate.
Key Requirements:
- Invitation to Bid (ITB) packages to support the estimate (Mechanical Piping Instruments Electrical and Pipeline)
- Commercial Clarifications
- Commercial Bid Evaluation and Recommendation of selected supplier pricing to use for the estimate
- Maintain Procurement Milestone Plan with progress of estimate support activities
Potential for deliverables to expand to include commercial deliverables for construction subcontract ITB Packages. Deliverables would include:
- Unit rate price breakdown structure in rate description
- Commercial preamble
- Contract Agreement and terms and conditions.
