Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage and oversee the full accounts receivable process. The role includes supervising daily AR activities managing collections performing reconciliations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills attention to detail and experience working with ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily Accounts Receivable operations.
- Review invoicing cash applications and bank postings completed by junior staff.
- Ensure accurate customer invoicing and timely payment processing.
- Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Handle complex or high-value collections and resolve customer disputes.
- Review and approve customer credit limits with Sales and Finance teams.
- Perform monthly AR and cash reconciliations.
- Prepare AR reports and support internal and external audits.
- Identify and implement improvements to AR processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of AR processes and reconciliations.
- Experience with ERP systems (QAD is an advantage).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication problem-solving and organizational skills.
