Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Work Type: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days onsite/week)

Role Overview:

Senior Java Developer with full stack preference. The role is focused on development and system design for web applications. The project involves transition from a third-party vendor product. Product environment includes both web and mobile applications but current hiring is for web.

Core Technical Requirements (Must-Have):

Strong experience in Core Java and Spring (Spring Boot).
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
Good experience in system design and designing scalable systems.
Experience with relational databases such as SQL or Oracle.
Hands-on experience in deployment and cloud environments (AZURE preferred any cloud is acceptable).
Basic frontend knowledge such as HTML CSS and JavaScript (preferred for full stack capability).
Candidate should be able to work with minimum supervision and contribute to technical decisions.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Kafka GraphQL Kubernetes Redis.

Team and Reporting:

Team size is 6 7 members.

Candidate will report to the Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable backend systems.
Work on microservices-based architecture.
Contribute to system design and deployment.
Support transition from third-party vendor product.
Collaborate with team members and mentor where required.

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong backend development experience and deep expertise in Java Spring Boot and microservices. The ideal candidate will have mentoring experience and the ability to contribute to architectural and technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain complex backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.

Contribute to microservices architecture ensuring high availability and scalability.

Mentor junior developers conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.

Integrate third-party services and optimize RESTful APIs.

Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to design efficient schemas and queries.

Collaborate with architects on cloud-native deployments using Docker Kubernetes and AWS/Azure.

Participate in Agile ceremonies providing technical input and effort estimation.

Ensure system security data integrity and high performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

10 years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.

Proficiency in microservices distributed systems and event-driven design.

Strong expertise in REST APIs GraphQL and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ).

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).

Proficiency in database technologies (MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB).

Knowledge of caching (Redis Memcached) and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong mentoring leadership and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with API gateways gRPC or serverless functions.

Certifications in AWS/Azure Java or architecture roles.

Exposure to AI/ML integration in backend services.
