Job Summary

Position Summary

First Atlantic HealthCare is a family of senior and assisted living facilities. This position is part of acentralized high-functioning payroll team.

Essential Job Functions:

Our Payroll Team promotes and supports an atmosphere of teamwork and delivers a very high level of service to our internal and external customers:

Setup/maintain employee files in time keeping and scheduling systems (Evolution and AOD)
Manage workflow to process payroll accurately and timely
Process payroll changes: benefit enrollments and changes pay changes terminations etc.
Adhere to Company policies and procedures as well as Federal and State laws and regulations relative to wage and hour matters
Act as a resource for Accounting and Payroll questions for all facilities
Highly focused on ensuring each employee is paid accurately and on-time each pay period

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED with 1 or more years of payroll experience
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general familiarity with general ledger

Skills and Abilities:

Strong work ethic dependable and team player
Excellent customer service
Able to communicate with various levels of management
Strong organizational skills
Ability to problem solve using critical thinking skills
High level of attention to detail
