Develop appropriate English language development lesson plans to meet the needs of the Englishlearner students at their English proficiency level. Administer initial screening and annual assessment of English learners using tools such as W-APTWIDA Screener and ACCESS. Maintain records for all requirements for state English Learner Education program: completing exitforms monitoring exited students completing student progress reports each term sending out parentnotification letters organizing folders and other administrative tasks. Keep up with all state requirements for English Learner Education program: completing exitingforms monitoring exited students completing student progress reports each term sending out parentnotification letters organizing folders and other administrative tasks. Assist in the development of an ESL content-integrated curriculum and updating existing curriculummaps for grades K-12. Evaluate student results and share with the classroom teacher. Work with classroom teachers to utilize appropriate SEI instructional strategies. Develop implement and consistently monitor goals and objectives for students in accordance withthe Massachusetts ELA Curriculum Frameworks WIDA Standards and CCSS. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians of students in order to assist in the development oflanguage acquisition in the home. Attend ESL department meetings. Other duties as assigned
