Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy figuring out how things work
Pillar To Post the leading home inspection company in North America is looking for a reliable detail-oriented professional to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work problem-solving and working independently in the field while still being part of a strong team.
Many successful inspectors come from backgrounds such as construction maintenance trades property management military or emergency services but we will train the right candidate.
Pay: Based on experience and qualifications.
What Youll Do
Inspect residential homes and evaluate major systems including roofing structure electrical plumbing and HVAC
Use inspection software to create clear reports for homebuyers sellers and realtors
Explain findings to clients and real estate professionals in a professional easy-to-understand way
Represent Pillar To Post with excellent customer service
The Ideal Candidate
Mechanically inclined and detail oriented
Comfortable communicating with homeowners and real estate professionals
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Professional dependable and organized
Comfortable using computers and technology
Job Requirements
Valid drivers license
Ability to climb ladders walk roofs and access attics and crawl spaces
Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Ability to pass background and driving checks
Some evening or weekend availability
