Job Summary

Description

We have an exciting opportunity for anAdaptive Equipment Technicianto join our team at ChildServe! This role will be responsible for the assembly maintenance repair and/or delivery of durable medical equipment which includes minor fitting and adjustments of equipment under the supervision of the ATP and/or therapist.

Schedule

  • Full-Time 40 hours/week
  • Monday Friday flexible hours

What Youll Do

  • Assist with inventory management materials acquisition and tracking of orthotic casts and equipment shipments.
  • Inspect assemble test diagnose and repair DME according to manufacturer and company standards.
  • Deliver and pick up equipment ensuring accurate documentation and proper signatures.
  • Maintain a clean safe workshop and delivery vehicle completing required logs and checklists.
  • Provide professional reliable customer service and communicate feedback or concerns appropriately.

What Youll Need

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Technical Training in the field of adaptive equipment or willing to complete within 1 year.
  • Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification or willing to complete within 1 year when need is determined.
  • Valid drivers license a personal vehicle proof of automobile insurance.
  • Ability to work independently with basic verbal and written instructional guidance from others.
  • Maintain positive working relationships and demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for a diverse population.
  • Lift and carry up to 50lbs be mobile within the clinic areas and frequently bend lift reach and stand.
  • Be able to perform tasks that include grasping turning and fine manipulation of tools.
  • Must be able to demonstrate safe use of hand and power tools.
