Job Summary

Description

We have an exciting opportunity for anAdaptive Equipment Technicianto join our team at ChildServe! This role will be responsible for the assembly maintenance repair and/or delivery of durable medical equipment which includes minor fitting and adjustments of equipment under the supervision of the ATP and/or therapist.

Schedule

Full-Time 40 hours/week
Monday Friday flexible hours

What Youll Do

Assist with inventory management materials acquisition and tracking of orthotic casts and equipment shipments.
Inspect assemble test diagnose and repair DME according to manufacturer and company standards.
Deliver and pick up equipment ensuring accurate documentation and proper signatures.
Maintain a clean safe workshop and delivery vehicle completing required logs and checklists.
Provide professional reliable customer service and communicate feedback or concerns appropriately.

What Youll Need

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Technical Training in the field of adaptive equipment or willing to complete within 1 year.
Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification or willing to complete within 1 year when need is determined.
Valid drivers license a personal vehicle proof of automobile insurance.
Ability to work independently with basic verbal and written instructional guidance from others.
Maintain positive working relationships and demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for a diverse population.
Lift and carry up to 50lbs be mobile within the clinic areas and frequently bend lift reach and stand.
Be able to perform tasks that include grasping turning and fine manipulation of tools.
Must be able to demonstrate safe use of hand and power tools.
