As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver Weekends in Bronx NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and the perimeter observing for unusual activity unsecured doors and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and lobby or public areas greet visitors assist with directions and help verify authorization for entry and/or services in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or customer concerns in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site management emergency services and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
- Complete required reports and logs such as patrol activity incident documentation and/or shift handoff notes and communicate pertinent information to the appropriate contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A New York State Security Guard License is required.
- At least 1 year of security experience is required.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
