Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Data SPOC to act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders consulting teams and data engineering/analytics teams. This role requires deep hands-on querying expertise across multiple data tools strong data understanding and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable data insights. The ideal candidate is technically strong consultative in approach and comfortable owning end-to-end data conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all data-related requests from clients or internal stakeholders

Gather analyze and translate business requirements into clear data and reporting needs

Perform advanced querying and data analysis across large and complex datasets

Independently write optimize and review complex queries to support analytics reporting and ad-hoc requests

Validate data accuracy ensure consistency across sources and troubleshoot data issues

Collaborate closely with data engineers BI developers and analytics teams to deliver solutions

Support consulting engagements with data exploration insights and recommendations

Drive best practices around querying standards data quality and documentation

Mentor junior analysts and review their work for accuracy and efficiency

Participate in client discussions requirement walkthroughs and solution explanations

Experience working in a data consulting or client-facing environment

Proven ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize effectively

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset

Exposure to Python or similar scripting for data analysis

Someone who owns data end-to-end not just reports

Required Technical Skills:

Strong querying expertise in:

SQL (advanced joins CTEs window functions performance tuning)

Relational Databases (PostgreSQL SQL Server Oracle MySQL etc.)

Cloud data platforms (Snowflake BigQuery Redshift Azure Synapse at least one strongly

preferred)
Experience working with:

BI tools (Power BI Tableau Looker etc.)

Data warehouses and data marts

Solid understanding of:

Data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schemas)

ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines

Ability to work with multiple data sources (structured and semi-structured)
