Rutgers the State University of New Jersey is seeking a Visiting Researcher (Scholar) for the Anesthesiology Department within New Jersey Medical School. Candidate studies molecular and cellular mechanisms that underlie neuropathic pain/degeneration with a focus on Alzheimers Disease. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Designs/performs experiments related to cellular and molecular pain development analyzes data writes manuscripts presents results. Develops standards methodologies and instrumentation for molecular biological experiments. Trains clinical fellows students. Assists in the writing of grants. Understands and adheres to Rutgers compliance standards as they appear in RBHSs Corporate Compliance Policy Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Performs other related duties as assigned.

New Jerseys academic health center Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences ( RBHS ) takes an integrated approach to educating students providing clinical care and conducting research all with the goal of improving human health.
