DescriptionThe Coordinator of the Tech Career Accelerator Program (TCAP) provides operational administrative and programmatic support to the Assistant Director of TCAP. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day program activities supporting employer engagement and experiential learning logistics maintaining data and reporting processes and ensuring seamless execution of TCAP initiatives across Bellini College degree programs. The coordinator will support the Assistant Director by being the point of contact for students employers faculty advisors and institutional partners ensuring efficient communication scheduling documentation and follow-through. This role is essential to the successful implementation tracking and continuous improvement of TCAP programming.
Opened in 2025 and powered by a University of South Florida record $40 million gift from Arnie and Lauren Bellini USFs Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence Cybersecurity and Computing is the first in Florida and among the first in the nation to unify AI cybersecurity and computing within a single college. More than 65 faculty members focus on cutting-edge research and educating 3000 bachelors masters and doctoral students across 15 degree programs in computer science cybersecurity AI information technology and computer engineering. The college emphasizes industry-relevant education and experiential learning to prepare students for real-world challenges. It also serves as the central hub for AI and cybersecurity research and teaching at USF collaborating with colleges and units across the university.
ResponsibilitiesHiring Range: $65000-$75000* Dependent on experience
Program Operations & Administrative Support
- Supports the Assistant Director with daily operations of the Tech Career Accelerator Program.
- Coordinates schedules meetings events and calendars related to TCAP initiatives.
- Works collaboratively with the communication and marketing team at Bellini College to maintain program materials timelines workflows and internal communications.
Career Readiness & Program Implementation
- Assists in coordinating embedded career readiness activities workshops and modules across academic programs
- Supports any logistics for career readiness tools such as digital badges and skill-building initiatives.
- Coordinates with academic and career advisors to ensure smooth delivery of TCAP programming to students.
- Responds to any student inquiries related to internships experiential learning and TCAP participation
Experiential Learning & Employer Engagement Support
- Coordinates logistics for internships industry-sponsored projects employer events and experiential learning opportunities.
- Assists as a point of contact for employers and partners supporting scheduling onboarding and communications.
- Assists with employer outreach documentation and relationship tracking under the direction of the Assistant Director.
- Supports events such as employer info sessions career panels networking events and recruitment activities
Data Tracking Reporting & Assessment
- Collects maintains and validates student participation and outcomes data related to internships experiential learning and employment.
- Assists with updating dashboards reports and metrics related to program participation and placement outcomes.
- Ensures accurate recordkeeping in career platforms student data systems and internal tracking tools.
- Supports assessment and reporting needs for college leadership advisory boards and external stakeholders.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- At least two (2) years of professional experience in higher education workforce development career services experiential learning employer engagement program coordination or related areas such as tech recruiting
OR - Masters degree and one (1) year of related experience as described
- Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelors degree.
Senate Bill 1310- The Florida Senate ( is conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.
SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements
A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required not to exceed:
(a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
(b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelors degree;
(c) Six years of direct experience for a masters degree;
(d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
(e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
