Job Description
As a Security Guard Armed Patrol-Driver Clearance Required in Humble TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and an armed guard card or license. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public resources as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas verifying identification and/or authorizations in accordance with post orders and local requirements.
- Document and report security-related activities incidents and observations through written logs and/or electronic reporting systems and communicate relevant updates to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security experience.
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement military and/or security experience OR a college degree.
- Have 6 months armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Provide proof of HS diploma/GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
