About the Team:
Active Lambeth is the leisure service run by Lambeth Council andoperatesfrom 8 locations across the borough. There are four leisure centres with swimming poolssports halls an ice rinkoutdoor sports facilities and standalone lifestyle and fitness centres as well as Family Leisure Zones Karaoke booths ClimbingWallsand treatment rooms.
ActiveLambethoffers a range of activities in its leisure centresand providing excellent customer service is integral to ensuring customers get the most out of the wide range of services on offer ranging from booking a massage to enjoying karaoke or the multi-sport simulator.
About the Role:
The Recreation Assistantis responsible forthe cleaningpreparationand general safety of areas in a sport and recreation wet side facilities they will have a key responsibility for the safety of customers in the swimming pool and its surrounding dry side facilities there may be a greater emphasis on the setting up taking down and storage of both cases Recreation Assistants are the first point of contact with customers and will needstrong communicationand social skills.
