Your New Role

As a Sourcing Analyst (Logistics & Distribution) You will work closely with Category Managers in the Strategic Sourcing Inbound Materials & Services (SSIMS) team to plan and execute sourcing activities for the Logistics & Distribution (L&D) category. Your day-to-day will include building and managing RFX events in Coupa handling supplier communications and bid evaluations and supporting negotiations and contract awards. You will also apply data tools to generate spend analyses and insights that help shape category decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage RFX events in Coupa for the L&D category (RFI/RFQ creation launch and execution).
• Create RFI/RFQ templates and manage supplier Q&A processes.
• Collect consolidate and evaluate bid sheets; generate comparison grids and insights.
• Provide objective supplier qualification recommendation and support for negotiation and contract awards.
• Perform spend analysis and develop spend cubes using SAP Alteryx VBA and BI tools.
• Deliver purchasing trend insights and reports to support category managers.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders across global teams.
• Support continuous improvement of sourcing processes and tools including eAuction setups where applicable.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role you should have the following qualifications:

• Batchelors / Masters degree in Finance (or equivalent) from a recognised institute with a strong academic record.
• Minimum 5 years experience in strategic sourcing RFX management and pricing analysis.
• Proven experience managing sourcing events in Coupa CSO SAP Ariba or equivalent ERPs.
• Advanced Excel skills (including VBA) and strong experience with data visualization/BI tools (Alteryx other BI platforms).
• Strong presentation skills and stakeholder management experience.

Must: Category specialization in Logistics & Distribution and experience running eAuction.

You will be joining our Sourcing & Analytics team within Finance and Procurement Global Business Services (GBS) team in Bangalore. Established in 2007 Finance and Procurement GBS supports various finance functions for Novo Nordisk globally. As part of this role you will be part of our Corporate Procurement team which is responsible for the global indirect spend in Novo Nordisk of app. 90 billion DKK and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy. With 180 employees based in Denmark 300 employees in India and globally 500 people working in procurement we are a strategic partner to the execution of the companys strategy.
