Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 45 years of experience in designing developing and executing automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation tools API/UI testing CI/CD integration and should be capable of ensuring product quality in a fast-paced microservices-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain robust automation test frameworks for web and API testing.
• Collaborate with developers product managers and QA team members to define test requirements.
• Automate regression functional and smoke test suites for scalable execution.
• Perform API automation for REST endpoints.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Azure DevOps).
• Debug test failures identify root causes and raise defects with detailed logs.
• Monitor test coverage and continuously improve automation efficiency.
• Maintain test data reusable utilities and test environments.

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Java / Python / JavaScript (any one must).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium Playwright Cypress for UI testing.
• Experience with API automation using Postman REST Assured Karate or similar tools.
• Knowledge of test frameworks (JUnit TestNG Mocha Pytest etc.).
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber SpecFlow).
• Exposure to Kibana Elasticsearch Grafana or datadog for log-based testing/validation.
• CI/CD tools knowledge (Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Good understanding of microservices containers (Docker Kubernetes) and cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).

ADD-ON Skills

• Performance testing with JMeter or Locust.
• Security testing knowledge (OWASP Top 10Burp Suite).
• Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools.
