About the Role:

We are seeking a commercial attorney with proven experience in risk and data privacy compliance to support ongoing client engagements. The role is that of an individual contributor working directly with the client teams on project deliverables. You will be a dedicated client resource supporting multiple client projects and also responsible for internal knowledge management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

High-quality service delivery and continuous service delivery improvement

Establish knowledge portfolios and build sector-specific expertise

Encourage and implement global knowledge sharing and cross-utilisation

Client reporting and continuous dialogue

Development and maintenance of playbooks and other procedural documents

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in law (B.A. LL.B) from a reputed University

IAPP CIPP/CIPM/AIGP will be an added advantage.

Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in transaction documentation with proven experience in risk and data privacy compliance.

Ability to lead Privacy Risk Assessments Policy Management (data privacy and AI-specific policy documentation) for clients across geographies and product types for regulatory compliance.

Draft and remediate firmwide compliance policies on the back of statutory and regulatory updates and assist in preparing reports for clients as part of regulatory operations support.

Proven track record in negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts

Training:

Design and conduct knowledge management training sessions on evolving topics and be responsible for conducting post-session evaluations.

Develop and enforce QA processes ensuring compliance

Expand commercial knowledge and develop specialist expertise in jurisdiction industry and technology

Continuously update playbooks processes and knowledge resources

Skills Knowledge and Experience:

Strong understanding of Morae and its operations

Flexible approach to working hours and delivery methodologies

Exceptional communication and organisational skills

Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask
