Job Description
TheUltrasoundTechnologistcollaborates with the Primary Care Medical Centerteam to deliver exemplary patient care and customer service while performing a variety of technical and patient care procedures.
How You Will Get Things Done:
Perform allsonographyimaging procedures properly preparing and positioning patients for imagingexams
Position the patient appropriately to best demonstrate anatomic area ofinterest
Organize and monitor patient flowtomeet company productivity qualityand safetystandards
How You Will Build Trust:
Proactively and consistently understand the needs of our customers andpatients
Effectively provide service and/or resolvesproblems
Thoroughly explain procedure to be performed to alleviate patient anxiety and facilitate patientcooperation
How You Will Innovate:
Perform image reconstruction asnecessary
Utilizes clear and effective communication to properly screen patients prior to scan for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to orderedexam
Experience to Drive Change:
Satisfactory completion of a formalsonographyprogram or other compatible course of study
RDMS certificationrequired(abdomen vascular and OB/GYNpreferred)
Minimum of 1 yearsonographyexperiencepreferred
Cardiac (Echo) experiencepreferred
