Hotel Nassau Breda offers 95 rooms a characteristic chapel (capacity 300 people) for events such as weddings and parties as well as 5 spacious meeting facilities. Hotel Nassau Breda is an Autograph Collection hotel one of the 30 brands of Marriott International. The hotel is part of the Odyssey Hotel Group the fastest-growing hotel management company in Europe.

YOUR ROLE AS AN EXECUTIVE CHEF

As Executive Chef at Hotel Nassau Breda you are responsible for leading the kitchen team and guaranteeing an exceptional culinary experience for our guests. You oversee daily operations manage the menu control costs and inspire your team to deliver high-quality dishes.

Job requirements

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Leading training recruiting and motivating the kitchen team as well as being responsible for work schedules.

  • Taking care of the culinary needs of our guests for breakfast lunch dinner and meetings.

  • Monitoring the preparation process and the quality of the dishes according to safety and brand standards and HACCP regulations.

  • Creatively adjusting the menus on a regular basis and contributing ideas to increase F&B revenue.

  • Monitoring stock making purchases and calculating food costs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Hotel Nassau Breda is looking for an inspiring and ambitious Executive Chef who can take our culinary offering to the next level. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has finished MBO/HBO or equivalent education

  • 2 years of experience in a similar position with Marriott hotels expertise being a strong advantage

  • Demonstrable knowledge of classical cooking methods as well as a very profound understanding of Mediterranean cuisine.

  • Ability to redefine and innovate already existing recipes

  • Proven experience with high-end weddings premium banquettes and business events as a Executive Chef or similar

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Experience in guiding and developing teams

  • Speaks English with Dutch being a strong advantage

  • Is motivated to continuously innovate and maintain the high standards of Hotel Nassau Breda
