Quality Control Intern

PPG is looking for an Intern to join our Quality Control team by helping with basic lab testingchecking product documentation andassistingin data review to ensure products meet quality standards. Depending on different universities requirements this internship program may range from 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assiston routine laboratory testing of production batches to ensure conformance with specifications

• Perform daily administrative task including file organizing sampling updating test results work-in-progressreportandCoA preparation.

• Support on customer complaint handling

• Support on audit including documentation reviewing compliance gaps and preparing reports.

• Assist QC Chemist oninvestigation of internal non-conformance including sampling root causeanalysisand corrective and preventive actions implementation.

• Help tomaintainlaboratorys housekeeping (5S) chemical handling calibration and ensure safety and compliance.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities and cost saving project

• Involve in inter-departmental collaboration (production process engineering maintenance technical) whentackling quality related issue.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow laboratory procedures and documentation standards accurately
• Proficient in English with the ability to read technical documents and communicate technical results.
