Job Summary

We are a regional excavation construction company that performs site preparation utility work and demolition. We are seeking an Office Admin/Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with administrative functions in a construction office environment be personable organized and detail-oriented. This position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (no weekends) and benefits to include health dental vision and life insurance short term disability insurance accident insurance paid holidays PTO and 401k.

Job Duties
Front desk and reception duties for a low-traffic low call volume office.
General administrative duties including communication with employees customers and vendors filing organize/mail/collect construction contracts job folder preparation etc.
Assist with timecard data entry.
Assist with accounts payable function including matching of vendor invoices reconciliation of monthly vendor statements and data entry.
Assist with accounts receivable function including maintenance of customer billing records and preparation of invoices.

. Assist with Human Resource duties as assigned.

Other office duties as needed.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Highly motivated with strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High comfort level with technology including MS Office products.
Experience in an accounting/office function. Construction industry a plus.
